Northern Saskatchewan acrylic artist Catherine Joa paints Canadian landscapes...but not only the pristine lakes or forest scenes you might imagine. Her pieces uniquely juxtapose untouched landscape with human impacts on the environment such as the aftermath of forest fires or relationships preserved in graffiti alongside the natural beauty of Northern roads.
